A lakeside stage is being built in Bad Weißenstadt am See, where an annual opera festival will take place.
The theme will be German-language operas and plays by librettist Emanuel Schikaneder, who rose to world fame with Mozart’s Magic Flute, the most successful opera of all time. The core of the project is the Magic 6 Ring, featuring six operas centered around The Magic Flute, including two rediscovered operas and a completely new contemporary opera, “Labyrinth II.”
