The Ring
Based on Wagner’s “Ring of the Nibelung,” a cycle of four operas—the largest operatic work in history at 19 hours—the work is simply called “The Ring,” referring to the powerful ring on the finger.
The term “Ring” has become so deeply ingrained that it can now be used for this magical cycle. Which term do you prefer? Let us know!
Schikaneder Ring (all the texts are by him except for Sarastro!)
Magic Flute Ring (yes, it definitely revolves around THE Magic Flute!)
Magic Ring (magic, mysticism, and enchantment are central themes in all these operas.)

Any other suggestions?
In Wagner’s Ring cycle, “Das Rheingold” serves as a prologue; therefore, the title numbering Z0 is for the pre-opera to the main Magic Flute. Then Z1 to Z5.
